Emily Cicio is the Office Manager at Gowanus Treehouse. She is the first point of contact for families who are interested in joining the Treehouse community, and the first person you see when you walk through the doors. Emily keeps the wheels turning in the office, while managing the many moving parts of the practice. 

In her role as office manager, she works to get families oriented, juggles internal and external schedules, and as a liaison between OTs and families. Alongside her managerial role, Emily continuously propels the practice forward by helping to strategize and implement new systems. She also works on marketing, social media, and creating newsletters to help keep families informed and updated.

Originally from New Hampshire, Emily moved to NY to dance professionally. She currently dances with a company based in NY/NJ and enjoys performing, choreographing, and attending art events in the city. She is passionate about traveling, spending time outdoors, and most of all her family and friends. The Treehouse provides a platform for her to blend her creative interests with her joy of working with children.
